Confidentiality
Information acquired by us in course of the engagement (other than information disclosed by you to others, or information available in the public domain) is subject to strict confidentiality requirements. That information will be treated as follows:
- we shall protect the confidential information in a reasonable and appropriate manner and in accordance with applicable professional standards
- we shall use confidential information only to perform our obligations under each engagement
- we shall reproduce confidential information only as required to perform our obligations under each engagement
Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties
We will not disclosure your personal or financial information to any third parties, such as your bank or finance provider, without your specific permission.
Documents
All original documents obtained from you in respect to this engagement shall remain your property; however we reserve the right to make copies of the original documents for our records.
Ownership of the tax returns produced as part of this engagement will vest in you. All other documentation produced by us in respect of the engagement, such as our internal work papers, will remain the property of our firm.
